Our client is a local council North of the river seeking a Ranger to join their team.
This position is a temporary contract with potential opportunities across Perth for permanent full-time for the right candidate.
Job Description: - Dog and cat management experience including investigation, impoundments, and issuing infringements
- Have a working knowledge of the Local Government Act, Dog Act, and relevant Council Local Laws and policies
- Handle the enforcement of Local Laws, including breach investigation, prosecution, and court appearances
- Work effectively under pressure, both as a member of a team and individually with minimal supervision
- Monitor parking notices and issuing infringement notices
Qualifications - Current "C" Class Driver's License
- National Police Check
- Completion of, or progression towards, a ROCS 1 and 2 (or relevant experience)
